Draw night sketches

So I’ve been doing draw night with a few artists for the last couple of weeks. I missed this week but I’ll be going again next week. So I’ll have more sketches to post up then. Anyway the draw nights are cool, it’s always a nice mix of artists, mostly it’s artists from a game company here in Utah called Avalanche. They have SO many talented artists that work there, it’s pretty amazing. Some Avalanche guys that come regularly are of course Alan Tew, whose art is beyond awesome. He’s been posting his draw night sketches on his blog, I highly reccommend going and checking out his work right now, HERE IS HIS BLOG!

This drawing is one where 4 of us artists took turns drawing on it. Tom does mainly backgrounds so he sketched in some BG, and then Alan sketched in those 2 figures, and Jon sketched in the monster. Basically each artist just sketches a rough under drawing for the next artist to use. I did finished pencils over everything, it was a lot of fun, Alan does some of the most expressive figures so doing finishes on those are very different than my own work, it’s quite refreshing.
