I’m happy with this one, I loved drawing it and I loved seeing what Fco Plascencia did with the cover colors. You’ll be seeing more of this guy soon. I really can’t wait to draw this issue, Nolan and Allen kickin butt together? How cool is that?

AH! I’m SO excited! Robert Kirkman is one of comic book’s greatest modern geniuses, this coupled with your gorgeous artwork is almost too much for the brain to comprehend!
Oh, and just wondering (not that I have a problem with it) who makes the violent nature of Invincible? Does Kirkman say “Dude, more blood!” or do you just kinda like that? I mean it adds to the intrigue of the comic, I just wonder who’s behind it!

I love seeing all the different takes on coloring, though I have to say that my favorite so far has been kelsey shannon. I’m thinking of getting an invincible tattoo of an image he colored because of the mood set by the colors and the awesome pose.

Jake- I am just a huge fan of drawing violence and anger. My goal is to make the reader almost FEEL it. So I really get into it when I am drawing something I want the reader’s to feel. There are some of those moments in issue 50, I can’t wait for you all to see it. I really had to grit my teeth while drawing that issue. heh.
Ted- Yeah, probably June now. Problems came up. Good news is 51 is done and I’m working on 52. So 51 SHOULD be out shortly after 50.
Moris- Yeah Kelsey is amazing. Kelsey colored the 12 page Cecil back-up in issue 50. It’s beautiful really, the moods he sets are great. Dammit that issue just needs to COME OUT already!!! GUH!
