Here is the pencils and inks to a page from issue 34. I loved this issue, loved drawing it, loved the story. This is how I work for every page now, since I ink my own work I keep the pencils fairly loose and just tighten everything up with inks, so inking takes longer for me since alot of actual drawing is done at that time also. Poor lil’ fetus dude is hatin life. Ok bye.

Hey Wya– what type of bristol you drawing on? Is it a batch prelined stuff?
DJ, yeah I use what Image sends me. It’s a Strathmore 4 ply or somethin like that, it’s from Blueline.
Hey Wya
Thanks for posting this – it’s good to see who another artist goes through the creative process!
I’m currently trying to sort out my inking style, having spent a few weeks with the brush I’m starting to get used to it (just about). I’m wondering what sort of pen/quill you use to ink the straight lines in your pieces – the crispness is wonderful. Do you use a dip quill or graphic pens?
Cheers
