He-man versus Collosor! I never even heard of Collosor before I did this commission, and I watched all the TV shows, collected tons of the toys. I enjoyed drawing this thing though, copic and prisma markers were used. Also white ink as a finishing touch.

AWESOME. I love the colors on this, He-Man be looking b’dass.
Also: Issue 50 was in-friggin-credible, everything about it was just insanely good. Maybe distance makes the heart grow fonder, but I don’t even feel bad about the wait, it was worth it.
I’ve noticed that you’ve been playing with perspective moreso recently. Was this a conscious choice or is it just coming out that way when it hits the paper?
I really enjoyed the perspective in #50 when we see Invincible from a low angle and his hand is way in your face.
Beautiful. Oh and don’t feel bad about not hearing about Collosor, I hadn’t heard of him either.
Quite certain I had all the figures and I definitely don’t remember a collosor. Sweet commission though.
Dude you should totally do a tutorial video on youtube or something, I try the marker stuff, but i need some guidiance, any advice would be great.
PS, stellar job on issue 50 of invincible.
Just saw you and Kirkman’s interviewed on iFanboy. You looked like a drawing machine. For the record though I think Kirkman could take you in a fight unless you have some kind of martial arts background I don’t know about
Whats up with these perspective cheats I keep hearing about??
Nice piece.
PS. Just recently started reading Invincible…only on issue 11, so I’m a bit behind the curve, looking forward to seeing how you’ve evolved as you’ve done the book.
