Draw Night sketches

I don’t always post everything I do at draw night, but I figure I should to show you all the good and the bad and the unfinished. A lot of things don’t make sense, I’m just playing around. This is my last post for a while, I’m going to San Diego next week so I’ll be sure and post after that. See a bunch of you there!

Here I’m just playing with loose gesturing then tight pencils over it.

WARNING: don't hit girls!

Weird unfinished sketch.

I got nuthin

I don’t know why I drew her with one weird arm, looks kinda dorky. I’m glad this wild beast lady took time to throw on a tube top.

hey, what's up?

I penciled a quick little drawing of a random dude for Derek Hunter to ink, he turned it into ME. I like how it turned out. Thanks Derek!

Deedle-Dee!

I think you have a bit of an unhealthy fascination with monster women. I would wager that the other artists at Draw Night have a pool going behind your back saying, “Is Ryan going to draw monster women, place your bets.” Needless to say, most of the time your a sure thing ;-)

Ryan, your monster women never ceases to amaze. Especially when one has Simba’s arm from the Lion King. :P

Love the way in the 2nd picture, they are all getting surprised/jumped by another creature. Guess it’s like the fish about to get eaten by the bigger fish, then the bigger fish etc type thing.
And they are all in the beam of the torch too… well excecuted!!

Argh, I really wish I had the money to travel all the way to San Diego for Comic Con to nab a sketch from you :(

I’ve been using your art to learn/practice coloring on the computer as of late and it’s been great fun! I hope you don’t mind me doing that and posting it on the net (and if you do please feel free to tell me to stop lol).

    Sketches awesome as always!

Costume outstanding. Now she just needs a friend dressed as Invincible.
