Gotta love those special pains in the butt. It probably took Kirkman, like, ten seconds to write down what he wanted, and then it took you four days to make it a reality. Heh.

The cover is really magnificent. It kind of looks like the ship could be a miniature (miniature?) city what with all the length it has (interconnected roadways inside?) and the numerous sections with all the details (windows, spires, little peninsulas and the like). Amazing stuff.

Chris,

Well for this cover here, it took one day for pencils, one day for inks. BUT there is those thumbnail sketches and other incomplete covers I did too, so TOTAL time on this cover I'd have to say was 4 days. Which is TOO long. I try to keep covers at 2 days. This one was just a special pain in the butt.

Ryan. I love your art on Invincible.
I just added your blog to my link section at www.chrisnoeth.de

Can you tell us how long you worked on the image from first thumbnail to final inks?

Keep up the good work!

Best,

Chris Noeth
