Simon Pegg's movie PAUL and sketchbook update

So I just got back from New Mexico to be an extra in Simon Pegg and Nick Frosts new movie PaulRobert Kirkman, Cory Walker, Joe Keatinge, Andy Kuhn, and I had a great time hangin out with each other and meeting new people and just being in awe of the movie business in general. I’m amazed at the amount of work and stress that go into this kinda thing.  I’ll stick to comics for sure.

They actually re-created Comicon in New Mexico! I signed a confidentiality agreement so I can’t say anything other than I was there. So I guess I’ll have to wait and post photos in late 2010, BAH!

Basically it all came about because Nick Frost is a huge invincible fan apparently, and asked us to come down and be in the film. We are all huge Pegg and Frost fans so we said SURE! Cory and I both Gave Frost some invincible covers which made him super happy and excited, I won’t repeat his exact words but it had to do with orgasm and such. heh.

Anyway can’t say much more about it.

Awesome stuff man, that must have been a ton of fun. Awesome work on those “sketches,” I absolutely love the Mark and Eve piece.

Great stuff as always. Pegg and Frost are brilliant. I watched Spaced for the first time earlier this year. Fantastic. More Spaced please. :)

This is still my favorite sketch of anyone’s I saw at the convention.

No doubt in my mind an Ottley Sketch is the first thing that should be commissioned at any comic convention real or imagined.

Everyone at the show is a huge fan of everything ottley. Keep up the amazing work man!

Hey, I was wondering if any of the sketchbooks are still available? I thought I’d ask before I ordered one, haha.

Also, you need to come to a convention that I can get to do I can get a sketch too~
