Invincible Handbook/ Omni-man

So I’m pretty sure tomorrow the 1st Invincible handbook comes out. I hope you all check it out, it’s amazing, seriously. I love the idea, and I gotta tell you it’s pretty awesome seeing artists I really admire draw characters that I designed. Too cool!
I drew Omni-man and since it starts with the letter “O” it doesn’t show up until the second issue. The first issue is A-K. And so on. Here is my Omni-man. colors by good ol’ Bill Crabtree. Thanks!

this works really great as a charachter sketch, it manages to highlite not only most of the visual features of the charachter, but it is an interesting and dynamic pose to top it all off

I would like to ask a favour of you if I could. We have a situation here in Chile where a politician has sued a very small local newspaper “El Urbano” and forced it to close because it uncovered potentially criminal activity involving some state funds (PGE) linked to certain individuals including a senator by the name of CARLOS OMINAMI. This was done by initiating a lawsuit against them for the sum of 200 million Chilean pesos. “El Urbano” is very small, 24 pages, staff I don’t know how many, but it doesn’t have the resources to hire lawyers. Two hundred million pesos is the equivalent of about four hundred thousand bucks.
Well! Because I have a small online newspaper at http://www.login.cl/ serving the same area, I thought it might be interesting to start a campaign against this creep, using an (obvious) near anagram of his name and creating “OMNIMAN”, champion of the rich and powerful. After all, if he comes after me, I have nothing to lose because I am nothing but a poor schmuck who barely makes enough to get by with my web-hosting projects and other stuff. I make minimum wage… about 240 bucks a month, enough to buy food, the occasional CD to do backups and pay my rent.
Of course, I checked out who else has created “OMNIMAN” – and here we are!
So, I would like to ask your permission to use the name…
