2010 convention schedule and Commissions.
Here’s my con schedule for 2010, it’s not the full list. I’ll still add maybe one or two more but here’s the cons that are set in stone. Also for those wondering about commissions, I am still not accepting them at home. I’m way too busy for that right now, I do still have a short list that I am working on from time to time but I can’t accept anymore. Thanks for your patience those that are still waiting for theirs.
For the time being I will only be doing commissions at conventions. To tell you the truth, conventions have always been hard for me because I try to do sketches for everyone that wants one which really is just too hard for me to physically do anymore and be happy with them. I really want to hand out my best work to fans. I will be taking a list at the shows, first come first serve. I’ll only take on 5 commissions a day. These commissions are going to be like what you’ve seen me post recently, Here are examples> EVE and INVINCIBLE , SUPERSKRULL , INVINCIBLE , Eve vs CONQUEST . Extra characters will be more expensive.
These will be $100 a piece. I have paper I take with me or I can do them on a paper of your choice, even your own sketchbook.
I know most people want sketches at shows and I’m sorry it’ll be a little more difficult to get sketches from me from now on but I need to try and keep a little sanity at these shows and accept the amount of work I can do and do well in that amount of time. I will always have prints with me, also Original pages and original sketches, some that were printed in my sketchbook that is still available. I am down to about 50 copies left that I’ll be taking with me to shows. I won’t be re-printing these again. I’d like to do a new sketchbook for this year but with all the work I’ve had to do last year I don’t have much art that is non-work related that I could compile into a proper sketchbook. So I might have to wait another year to make an all new one.

Hey Ryan, thanks for the info. Exactly how big are the commissions you do on your on paper? Just so I’ll be prepared with something to protect the awesomeness!
Lafayette Azevedo and Pierre, those two cons are both possibilities, I’ve been thinking about those two a lot. Both have family in those cities so they might just happen. We’ll see.
Ernesto Rivera – I don’t remember the exact measurements but it’s around 8×11.

Hey, great news on the convention schedule. Would you consider making your way to HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC this summer? That would be boss. (Do people still say that?) Anyway, I’m interested in purchasing a sketchbook from you–how do I go about doing so? Thanks, Ryan! I wouldn’t be still reading comics if not for your artwork!

So after all the thought you put into it and the speculation about if you are or aren’t I’m going to have to say that you made the right decision to decline me punching you in the face and instead showing up to WONDERCON, I know, I know, tough chioces in life but whats life if you don’t have a few obstacles AKA fiststoface disease… POW, you’ve been diagnosed sucka!
It would be dope if you could make it to the London mcm expo in may cause I have a stack of books that beg for your squiggle
Hey Rayan would you be able to do sketches on say an image united blank cover ( Allen the Alien ) , and how much would the commison on that be . Looking forward to get it done in the Emerald City Comicon .
Ivan Capuchino, I don’t know the booth number but I always stay at the Image booth, so just look for that.
Brian, I’m thinking about it, it’s a toss up between C2e2 and Wondercon.

Ryan, I’ve just recently gotten into comics again and have totally fallen in love with Invincible and your art work! I live in St.Louis and can not wait to run into you at the convention here and get some of your work done!
I’m going to have to camp out to be first through the door at the St. Louis Con. I’m totally stoked to meet the genius behind Invincible.
You should come to Montreal ComicCon, it is very small but it would be awesome.
