I had not seen that movie in forever until recently. Indeed one of the lost animated films. Anything with Christopher Lee in it instantly goes up a notch in my book.

I bought that movie along with Legend for my wife and she still likes those 2. However I must say that Transformers and Monster Squad are still outstanding films.

Man I haven’t seen that movie in years! I’ve seen a few of my childhood favorites in recent years and they DEFINITELY didn’t hold up, so I didn’t bother buying Last Unicorn or the Transformers movie. Some memories are best left in the rose colored glasses era of childhood.

Man, when I was a kid The Last Unicorn was my sister’s favorite movie, but the crazy tree that kept trying to hug people used to scare the crap out of me.

Dude, I know exactly what you mean. I bought it at the request of my girlfriend about a year ago and we watched it just for old times sake. I loved the Cat and the laughing skull. Good times good times.

Great! I think all of us have a movie or two from childhood that rocked then but isnt nearly as cool now. Mine has to be the x-mas non-classic: The Night They Saved Christmas starring Jacquelyn Bisset, Art Carney and Scott Grimes. In 1985, this was Oscar worthy cinema but now it should only be played on the Hallmark channel at 2 am (during summer).
