I’ve never done a Gallery before but that was fun, I think I wanna do that again! Thanks to Derek Hunter for setting it all up and doing all the work for it. There was 7 artists from our Draw Night that hung up art and tons of people came to our Gallery opening last Friday. Our art will be up until Sept18th if you want to go take a look.
here’s some photos from the event, I’m not in any of them, since I took them with my phone. You’ll notice the board over a window in the first pic. Someone busted in the night before our Gallery opened and stole money out of the till, the window is more expensive than the money that was stolen. But on top of that, they didn’t even touch our art. Which is quite a relief, but I still can’t help but be offended. Screw that guy for not liking our art enough to take a piece and try to hock it on Ebay.
We had a DJ there as well thanks to Tim Odland for hooking that up. The next day is when we did 24 hour comic day. It was an amazing weekend, thanks to everyone who came out! Crap I’m tired, here’s some pics. Enjoy.

It may have been the opposite (with the thief). One of my teachers had his house broken into and had his tv stolen, but the thieves didn’t steal any art… and actually tiptoed (with tv in hand) around all of the unfinished artwork he had on the floor of his living room.
