Yep I’m sold out of my sketchbooks. All gone, and I won’t be reprinting those. Thanks to all those who got one! I really appreciate it and I’m compiling new art to hopefully do a new book maybe next year.

But…I hope you grab SEA BEAR and GRIZZLY SHARK in the meantime! Comic Book Resources talked to Jason and I more about the book, check it out HERE!

I’m back. C2E2 was awesome, hopefully more people show up next year since it was light on attendance. But it was still an enjoyable con and plenty of Invincible fans showed up at the booth and showed their support. Invincible has some very enthusiastic fans, you guys are amazing. It’s always a pleasure. I apologize if you catch me when I’m tired and un-talkative or so knee-deep in a drawing I lose my ability to speak. So yeah, just keep bugging me and I’ll come around.

Here’s the commissions I did, and some sketch cards. These are not ALL I did so if you got one from me please send me scan if you can. I’d love to have it to show it off. These ones are all taken by my cell phone, I forgot to take pics of all of them. Sigh.

Here’s a Creature commission.

Allen the Alien lookin like Rick Grimes. This commission was done on an Image United cover. These things totally suck to draw on.

Atome Eve commission.

Good Ol’ Haunt commission on an Image United sketch cover. Did I mention these things suck to draw on?

Invincible Returns and CHICAGO

So Invincible Returns came out this week! Hope you guys liked it. I assume you hated the lateness thereof, we are trying to fix that.

Here’s a couple pages from the issue but first I need to mention I will be at C2E2 comic convention in Chicago next week. I’ll be hanging with Jason Howard at the Image booth, we’ll be talking up our Sea Bear and Grizzly Shark book coming out in June. And of course our individual books Invincible and Astounding Wolfman. Bear and Shark!

So what happens when a Bear and a Shark get mixed up? Awesome stuff, that’s what!

Keep an eye out, this 48 page one-shot is coming out in June by Jason Howard and I, and a special origin written by Robert Kirkman. You might have to ask your shop to order it. If you miss this, we can’t be friends.

Crayon Hulk and INV stuff

I drew this with my 4 year old son a couple weeks ago . He asked me to draw HULK. The only drawing tools he had were two big fat crayons and one pencil that was cinnamon scented, which was odd but pleasing at the same time. If I was 4 I would probably have tasted it. Luckily my son is smarter than I.

Here’s some Invincible stuff. Can’t wait for Viltrumite WAR? Meeee tooo.

And here’s a page from Invincible 70. I did the whole issue in exactly 10 days, I had to rush it. Not giving excuses just giving you a fun fact. It was rushed of course because at the time I was working on my last issue of Haunt as well. Each issue of Haunt was about 2 weeks also so you can imagine how happy I am to not have two books to worry about anymore. I am so sick of drawing fast so it’s nice to only have Invincible to work on for now. I spent more time on Invincible returns, and issue 71 is a blast so far as well, I’m going at a rate of a page a day. Which isn’t helping our lateness but once I get to some easy pages it should go faster. We’ll get back on time people, don’t you worry.
